Patient Diagnoses: Use of Phillips V60 Bipap, Bipap Vision and Teleflex High Flow Nasal Cannulas preferred
Special Procedures/Unit Details: Small community hospital respiratory therapy department managing emphysema, asthma and other respiratory disease processes. We do non-invasive ventilation, high flow oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, ABG draws and analysis, and chest physiotherapy. Invasive Ventilation is stabilized in the emergency room and shipped to our sister hospital CPH. We run primarily 12 hour shifts 7a-7p & 7p-7a with one 8 hour shift on Fridays to make an 80 hour work pay period. On Friday nights from 1 a.m.- 7 a.m. on call is required.
