Title: Project Manager 3
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 5 months
Interview: In-Person Position will be 2 days remote with 3 days (Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays) required to be onsite at the location listed above. Program will only accept LOCAL ONLY candidates for this position Job Description: - 8 or more years of experience, relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated tasks, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Certification in Project Management by a recognised project management organisation or Scrum Master a plus.
- Project managers are the people in charge of a specific project or projects within a company. As the project manager, your job is to plan, budget, oversee and document all aspects of the specific project you are working on. Project managers might work by themselves or be in charge of a team to get the job done. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume. Proof of certification may be requested.
- Contractor will support the State Health Analytics Reporting Platform (SHARP) by managing a project which will enhance the system to expand the reporting available to program area users.. Contractor will manage a vendor software development team and coordinate with the in house software team, and collaborate with the program area to keep them informed and involved as appropriate. Contractor will manage the schedule, budget and scope for this project.
- Contractor will be required to be on site 3 days per week, but this is subject to change and could increase to 5 days per week in the future.
II. CANDIDATE SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements: Candidates that do not meet or exceed the
minimum stated requirements (skills/experience) will be displayed to customers but may not be chosen for this opportunity.
Years Required/Preferred Experience
8 Required Project Management
8 Required Managing enterprise scale data management projects.
8 Required Managing agile projects at state or federal government agencies or similar
5 Preferred Knowledge and experience with common project management systems like Jira, Micro Focus Project Management etc.
3 Preferred Experience with creating Texas Project Delivery Framework deliverables and managing projects using this framework strongly preferred.
1 Preferred Certified PMP
1 Preferred Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or other Agile-related certifications
