The Applications Analyst is responsible for performing moderate to complex analysis of enterprise applications to support operational effectiveness and business objectives. This role involves monitoring application resources, evaluating system processes, analyzing historical data trends, and providing technical and functional support for workforce management applications.
The analyst will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to configure applications, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performance across time and attendance and staff scheduling platforms.
Provide application configuration, maintenance, and user support for Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling systems.
Perform system analysis, monitoring, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal application performance and reliability.
Configure and maintain Symplr workforce management applications, including pay policies and scheduling components.
Support business operations by analyzing system usage, historical data trends, and workflow efficiency.
Work with cross functional teams to evaluate processes and recommend improvements to enhance departmental effectiveness.
Provide technical and functional support to end users and resolve system related issues.
Assist with data analysis, reporting, and automation using SQL and SSIS packages.
Support system integrations between Symplr and Payroll systems.
Document configurations, processes, and troubleshooting procedures.
Support additional non Symplr applications as needed within the organization.
Experience supporting Symplr Time & Attendance and Staff Scheduling systems.
Strong expertise with Symplr modules, including:
Pay Policies
Rules Engine
Time & Attendance
Scheduling
Absence Management
Staffing environments
Ability to perform application configuration and system support.
Experience with SQL and SSIS packages for data analysis and integration support.
Knowledge of Symplr integrations with Payroll systems.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills.
Ability to support multiple applications and work in a fast paced operational environment.
Experience participating in system migrations from Symplr to Oracle Time & Labor.
Experience supporting enterprise workforce management or HRIS platforms in healthcare or large enterprise environments.
