Job Description:
The IT Programmer Analyst is responsible for performing moderate to complex analysis, development, and support activities to improve system performance and departmental effectiveness. This role monitors system resources, evaluates business processes, and analyzes historical trends to support operational efficiency. The analyst will provide technical and functional support for enterprise applications, primarily focusing on Infor Lawson systems, while also assisting with other non-Lawson applications when required. The role involves developing and maintaining automation, supporting integrations, and collaborating with business teams across Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide application and technical support for Infor Lawson systems across Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll modules.
Develop and maintain solutions using Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.
Build and support Lawson IPA workflows, notifications, and integrations for cross system communication.
Create and maintain Lawson batch jobs, programs, and scripts to automate business processes.
Monitor system performance, analyze operational trends, and recommend process improvements.
Support and troubleshoot issues across Lawson and non Lawson applications as needed.
Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure system reliability and efficiency.
Required Skills:
Strong experience supporting Infor Lawson applications.
Proficiency with Lawson 4GL, COBOL, SQL, and ProcessFlow.
Experience with Lawson IPA workflows, notifications, and integrations.
Ability to create and maintain Lawson batch jobs, programs, and automation scripts.
Functional knowledge of Finance, Supply Chain, and Payroll systems.
Ability to support non Lawson applications when required.
Nice to Have:
Experience with Lawson Design Studio forms, UI customization, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of non core S3 Infor Lawson applications such as MSCM, XM, or LBI.
Experience supporting or participating in migrations from Infor Lawson to Oracle Fusion.
