Description:
Position: MRI Tech
Shift time(s): 4x10s - Monday-Thursday 9p-7a
Years of experience REQ: Minimum 1 year experience required.
First-timers accepted: Yes.
Weekend REQ: None
Certs REQ: ARRT-R & BLS required.
Is on-call REQ? No.
Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? No.
Open to accommodating block schedule? Discuss schedule requests with manager.
Locals accepted: Yes- no radius.
Pending License accepted: Must have active license at start date.
RTO Restrictions: Ideally no more than 5 days.
Guaranteed Hours: Client may cancel up to 3 shifts at any time for any assigned Aya Candidate without any penalty or obligation to pay Aya for such cancelled time. On-call hours do not count towards the guaranteed minimum hours.
Special Requirements: Required Work Setting Experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, ER/Trauma. Required Abdomen and Pelvis MRI Skills/Experience: Abdomen, Abdominal Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Abdominal Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Female Pelvis, Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP), Male Pelvis. Chest MRI experience required. Required Equipment Experience: PACS, Siemens. Required Head and Neck MRI Experience/Skills: Brain, Cranial nerves, Face/soft tissue neck, Head Magnetic resonance angiogram (MRA), Head Magnetic resonance venography (MRV), Neck Magnetic Resonance Venography (MRV), Orbits. Required Musculoskeletal MRI Skills/Experience: Foot, Hand, Hip/bony pelvis, Knee, Lower extremity long bones, Shoulder, Sternum, Temporomandibular joint with/without contrast, Upper extremity long bones. Required Professional Knowledge and Skills: Isolation Precautions, Preparation and/or administration of contrast media, Radiation Safety, Starting Peripheral IVs. Required Special Imaging Procedure Skills/Experience: Diffusion (non-brain) Gradient Echo Imaging, Image post-processing (Apparent diffusion coefficient mapping, subtraction), Maximum intensity projection (MIP), Multiplanar reconstruction (MRP), Perfusion, Peripheral Magnetic resonance angiography (Iliac, runoff), Spin Echo Images, Surface Coils, T-1 Weighted Images, T-2 Weighted Images. Required Spine MRI Skills/Experience: Cervical, Lumbar, Sacrum/coccyx, Spinal trauma, Thoracic, Thoracic Magnetic resonance angiography.
