POSITION: Registered Nurse – MS/Tele

SCHEDULING DETAILS AND CHARTING

Shift hours/Contract Length: 3x12 Days 0700-1900 / 13 weeks
Weekend Requirement: Every Other Weekend
Charting: EPIC experience required
RTO/Block & Special Scheduling Requests: ALL requests must be included with the submission.
Call off Policy: The client may cancel (call off) up to three shifts during a 13-week contract period without incurring charges for the canceled hours.
Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday, if needed
Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes
Locals Accepted? Radius Rule: RN's within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted.
REQUIRED LICENSE AND CERTIFICATIONS

Pending License Accepted: No, Must have an active New York Single State RN or LPN license. (NY is not Compact)
Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS
REQUIRED CLINICAL SKILLS

IV therapy/phlebotomy; blood product administration; peripheral line care/management; cardiac monitoring & emergency response; interpretation & management of dysrhythmias; rapid response/code team use;
Nasal cannula; non-invasive airway management; oxygen administration; oxygen tanks, isolation precautions; wound care/wound vac
Experience in MS/Tele settings

Ratios: 1:5 (1:7 for MedSurg)
Unit Details: 26 beds; specializes in care of patients post PCI, pacemakers, AICDs, post MI, and cardiac pharmacologic interventions
Floating: Will be required to float within skillset
Scrub Color: Any combination of navy blue and white
