Title: Quality Control Team Manager
Location: Oakland, CA (Schedule - Hybrid preferred (local to Oakland) currently 2 days in office but open to remote to widen the search if you have difficulties finding candidates)

Functional Job Description:
This leadership role oversees the Program Quality team within the Journey Experience (JX) business group, which leads digital strategy, product management, member self-service experience, digital capability delivery, and platform stability and enhancements. The Program Quality team serves as the quality assurance function for the JX operating model, with the JX organization itself treated as the "program under review. The manager leads a team of three staff responsible for ensuring that JX teams operate with clearly defined processes, artifacts, cross-team engagement protocols, and measurable performance standards. Acting as a hybrid of internal audit, coaching, facilitation, and reporting, the team evaluates how effectively JX teams execute against their operating commitments while helping teams strengthen consistency, transparency, and delivery discipline. The role facilitates governance checkpoints and decision activities, supports adoption of quality frameworks, and provides oversight of metrics, performance review inputs, and portfolio reporting. The Program Quality team also contributes operating model subject matter expertise in areas such as process design, artifact standards, performance metrics, and program oversight to help ensure the JX organization delivers digital products and capabilities with consistent quality and accountability. Program and product management experience is required.
Essential Functions:

Direct post-release review consistency across teams.
Direct root cause program by enforcing framework use and action closure.
Direct risk and issue tracking by monitoring adoption and results.
Direct ecosystem impact oversight by monitoring dependencies.
Direct audit, compliance, and privacy review by overseeing processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or equivalent. Leadership and project management; experience translating strategy into enforceable processes across teams.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Ensure oral communication to effectively convey and explain information to varied audiences.
Ensure written communication to draft clear, concise documentation, reports, and specifications.
Ensure consensus-building and information exchange among project teams and internal/external stakeholders.
Ensure use of Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools in daily work.
Ensure use of AI and automation technologies to foster organizational and business process change.
